How to Have a Wider Lens: See Your Life Differently

Let me share with you a question I ask people who seek help in my practice. You may like to try this yourself.

“What is it that you’re not getting in life that causes concern and stops you from making your life work the way you would like it to work?”

Think about this for a minute or so. When you’ve defined this concern, focus on the consequence of what it is that you’re not getting. Describe how it looks and feels not to get what you want. How does this concern influence your life?

The idea of seeing life with a wider lens made me think about how I handle problems and choices. There was a hard week when I fell behind in school and said i need someone to take my online course to make things easier, but slowing down and planning each task helped me learn more and think better. It taught me that facing challenges can make me stronger. your post makes me smile.

The article about having a wider lens was thoughtful and made me think about looking at life with more care and open eyes. When I once needed to Complete my online finance class, I slowed down and broke each topic into pieces, and that made the numbers feel less scary. It reminded me that patience and a calm mind help you see the big picture and learn more.
