Ongoing Parent Support Group

This ongoing support group deals compassionately with needed parenting skills, family dynamics that affect children, adolescent development, family-school relations, stress management, divorce and many other issues and tools; all provided in a supportive environment.

In addition to his background as a psychotherapist – specializing in parenting and family dynamics – Dr. Silvestri brings years of experience as both a teacher and school administrator to this group process.

Group sessions may be eligible for insurance coverage.

Individual Supervision for Psychotherapists With a Focus on Systemic Family Therapy

Subject to practitioner's specific needs (i.e. applying for State License, practicing therapists, etc.).

Dr. Silvestri is an Approved AAMFT Supervisor and is licensed in New Jersey and New York.

Support & Educational Group

Whether you are a veteran therapist or working towards your license, this collaborative ongoing support group will offer you a place to share issues and cases, while providing ways to optimize both your professional growth and personal well being.

Dr. Ken Silvestri will also share his training in Anthropology, Systemic Psychology, Homeopathy, Aikido, Qigong, Stress Management, Forgiveness, Mindfulness, and Coherent Breathing. By presenting resources from these disciplines and others, he will enhance your personal and therapeutic skills, as well as help you to increase your sensitivity to the individual needs of your patients.

The group will meet weekly in 12-week cycles in Montclair, NJ, with additional sections offered in Manhattan and Nyack, NY [site, day and time to be determined based upon group size and participants' schedules].

The fee for all twelve sessions will be $900. A commitment to a 12-week cycle is required. A receipt for $75 per session will be provided, and can be eligible for out-of-network group therapy insurance coverage, supervision requirements and CEU credits, where applicable.
