Dr. Kenneth Silvestri


Dr. Silvestri has had a private practice since 1980. Many people have found resolution of emotional and phsyical challenges through his unique systemic approach. His doctorate is in anthropology and psychology from Columbia University. He has studied at the Ackerman Institute for Family Therapy, the Family Institute of New Jeresey and has completed intensive certification programs with renowned homeopaths Dr. Luc De Schepper and David Little. In addition, he has had national fellowships in the social sciences at the University of Chicago and the University of Pennsylvania.

Dr. Silvestri was a school administrator and has taught at the public school level. He formerly was an adjunct professor at Montclair State University and taught graduate courses at the College of Saint Elizabeth.

Dr. Silvestri has published over sixty articles and conducted numerous workshops on family therapy, alternative education, communication skills and homeopathy. He is an American Association of Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) clinical member, approved supervisor and an active black belt student of Aikido. Dr. Silvestri is also an associate with the Center For Forgiveness Education and Open Ki Solutions which offers management consulting and training in conflict resolution and organizational healing based on the principles of Aikido.
